Diploma in Islamic Banking from David Game
Islamic Banking Diploma is aimed mainly to introduce basic concepts, ongoing themes and operating principles that apply to different types of Islamic banking in comparison to conventional banking. The course also provides an overview on Islamic insurance termed as takaful. The course assumes no previous knowledge of banking. Neither does it assume any previous knowledge of Islam. Besides discussing theoretical knowledge the course examines practices of Islamic banking. The emphasis is on practical implementation of Islamic finance principles in the real world of finance. Diploma in Arabic - English Translation from David Game College
This course will explore the theory and practice of translation from Arabic to English and English to Arabic. Therefore, Students shall explore the difference between the confused notions of process, product and theory with an aim to understanding the term of “translation”. They will also uncover the relation between language and culture. In addition, the seven procedures of translation proposed by Vinay and Darbelnet (1995) shall be introduced to student with a view to helping them to resolve the many complexities posed by the translation process. Theoretical lectures shall be complemented by regular applied ones wherein students have the opportunity to translate, from and into Arabic, textual documents representing various domains of language.

Our Partners - Learn to Swim with STA
STA - The British Swimming Teachers Association (In cooperation with VIP Sports Academy) have launched their flagship pool at Al Wasl Sports Club, Dubai.
The partnership between these sporting organizations is intended to expand the development of youth swimming talent and improve the sporting participation for the people of Dubai. This is the first time in the GCC that STA have opened a centre and it marks the start of a new era of swimming education for the region.
Al Wasl Sports Club has a rich history of developing some of the UAE's finest athletes and is now with such a renowned organization as STA. The aim of The Al Wasl Swimming Centre is to get people active through sport and promote the healthy lifestyle that swimming entails in addition to creating some great new athletic talent.
The club will offer the STA Learn to Swim Program to all ages and abilities during the daytime and evening at various session times. The schedule will provide special times dedicated to ladies and mothers and babies who will open Al Wasl Club up to a much wider audience who it is hoped will enjoy the excellent new facilities.
