Take the first step and enroll in the Australian Swimming Coaches & Teachers Association’s (ASCTA) internationally recognized Swim Teacher course – the Swim Australia™ Teacher qualification. It is affordable, accessible and largely self-paced. By meeting (and exceeding!) The Swim Australia™ Teacher course consists of a self-paced theory component, available electronically. This is complimented by guided practical sessions and mentored in-water time to give you a chance to put your new knowledge into action.
Your qualification will remain valid for 4 years, during which time you can earn re-accreditation points by attending various professional development events through ASCTA and other approved providers, including the swim school you are working in. Continual membership of ASCTA is another pathway towards re-accreditation.
